Blended Learning

A regular classroom can become a blended learning environment with the incorporation of a few good tools.  As we move from the traditional classroom using whiteboards to display notes, we incorporated technology that is useful for students to research and study, work in groups, communicate, and learn at their own pace.

Using Thinglink as a tool for blended learning and collaboration demonstrating the use of Padlet, EdShelf, Spiderscribe, Glogster, Venngage, Visme, and Wix website builder. This was a team project with Latoya Golden and Haley Harbaugh. Click of the project to find interesting links that will help in any blended learning class.

I created this site to demonstrate easy to use online tools for blended learning featuring video, games, flash cards, quizzes and more.

Is a group research project defining the types of blended learning designs and how it is used to support student learning and help reach institutional goals for accommodation, collaboration, and increased student access to quality learning experiences.

Canva is a useful site to create more than just infographics.  You can develop slide presentations like the one below, or posters and invitations. It is useful for teachers to create colorful lessons, but also for students to learn to use digital tools and elements to create their class assignments.

I used ThingLink to demonstrate many different ways an instructor can begin using online tools for blended learning.

Padlet is a favorite go-to for projects to be posted and shared.
