Join my new edWeb community: Teaching Connections. It is a Networked Learning Space (NLS) for educators and others to share links to resources that help in lesson planning. We develop ideas to help us teach 21st century skills to our students. We are supportive of new teachers and encourage participation by all who are interested in creating authentic learning experiences for the classroom.
I found some other great learning spaces that are fun and informative. The first one is developed by a professional photographer who invites others to share tools and tips about photography. It is called Photography Tools and Tips on Google +. It's a fun community and offers a lot of easy to use tips for both the expert and novice alike. Facebook also has communities one can join. I found this NLS called Full Life with Hearing Loss. This is a public and service oriented NLS for and about people who with hearing loss. There are informative discussions and many links to websites that provide further service for those suffering with a hearing problem. Join this group for some eye opening discussions. Finally, another site from the edWeb community is one called Transitioning into Innovative Learning Spaces . This network is a space for sharing innovative and relevant project based learning ideas. The group shares ideas that are student centered and fosters curiosity, collaboration, innovative thinking, and communication skills.
